  • Step 1 - Contact Us

    • Fill out our contact form on our website or call us at 207-573-9000
    • Tell us about the problems you’re experiencing.
    • An appointment will be set up to look at your home with a dedicated project manager.
  • Step 2 - On-Site Inspection

Our project managers are trained to evaluate the components of your roofing system and provide you with the knowledge to make the best decision for your home or business.

Key parts of the site visit:

    • Gather measurements, take photos and perform the roof inspection
    • Discuss the products we use and answer any questions you have
    • Evaluate ventilation, flashing, and roof protrusions
    • Discuss Color Options and provide samples
    • Discuss warranty options

We believe a thoughtful approach to your project is the best method to provide you with 5-Star service. Each home is different and has unique challenges that need to be addressed with care. Each estimate has at least 2 sets of eyes that look at it before it goes to you. This approach allows us to be more accurate with our estimates and reduce potential change orders later in the project.

To provide you with the information to make an informed decision we promise a 2-day estimate turnaround for standard projects.

  • Step 3 - Approve Estimate & Color

We’re ready to answer any questions about your estimate and discuss all your available options. Once you’ve selected your colors, we’ll add you to the schedule at the earliest opening – or whenever works best for you. Keep an eye out for the formal contract and next steps in the process.

  • Step 4 - Pay Down Payment

With your estimate approved, we will send the formal contract to be signed. This is traditionally done electronically but can be printed on request.

Once a down payment is received we order materials and ensure everything is ready for the start of your project. Most standard products are available locally. However special order materials may need to be ordered and shipped to us. Your Project Manager will be in touch with you if shipping of materials will affect the project timeline.

We offer flexible payment options to meet your needs:

    • Payments can be made online, by mail or stop into our office.
    • We accept cash, checks or credit cards. Online Payment Link
    • Financing options including 0% option. Learn More About Financing Options
  • Step 5 - Prepare For Our Arrival

There will be significant debris coming off your property.  Our crew does a thorough job protecting your property during the process but there are a few things you can do to help regardless of project type:

    • Remove any delicate lawn & garden ornaments.  (Our crew can help move or protect larger furniture items) but small glass bulbs and ceramic garden ornaments are best removed prior to our arrival.
    • The attic or top area of your home may have debris or dust fall from the ceiling.  This is particularly the case for older homes with exposed barn boards.  If you have items stored there you may want to consider covering or moving them.  We have rolls of plastic that can be used.
    • Move cars away from the building so they are away from any falling debris.
    • If your home is in close proximity to neighboring properties and we may need to go on their property to complete the work, having this conversation ahead of time can make the experience smoother and prevent surprises.

Your project manager will be in touch with you as your project approaches to remind you and keep you apprised of material and dumpster delivery timing as well as the overall timing of the project.  We do our best to stick to scheduled install dates but weather and unforeseen issues on projects may cause slight delays.

  • Step 6 - Renovation Day

    Crew Size:

Our roofing crews are between 6-12 people depending on the size of the roof. For siding or gutters the crew is generally 1-3 people.

    Timing:

Most projects can be completed in 1-2 days. Your project manager will keep you informed of the anticipated timeline when the job is scheduled.

    Property Protection:

We pride ourselves on keeping a very clean jobsite. We cleanup throughout the process. Here are just a few measures we take:

    Catch-All:

We place protective tarps against your property to ensure that no falling debris damages your siding or windows.

    Equipter:

A motorized dumpster on a scissor lift allows us to deliver materials and collect debris close to the roof.

Magnet Rollers collect nails throughout the roofing process to ensure your lawn and driveway are safe to walk on.

    Clean Up:

We will leave the jobsite cleaner than when we arrive. If there are issues with debris being left behind, please let us know and we will address it promptly. We will handle disposal of all of the debris that come off your roof.

    Weather:

We will keep you informed if there is inclement weather expected. We will ensure that your roof is protected throughout the process.

  • Step 7 - Pay Invoice

Your Project Manager will be in contact with you to ensure that the project was completed to your satisfaction. This may include:

    • Ensuring satisfaction with the job that was performed
    • Confirming the jobsite was cleaned up properly
    • Any changes to the scope that needed to be addressed
    • Answering any questions you may have.
    • If we find anything that requires price changes during the roof installation process your project manager will notify you and send photos of the areas noted. This prevents any unforeseen changes to your final bill. If desired, we are happy to do a final walkthrough and make sure everything is how it should be.

Once you’re happy with everything we collect a final payment.  For your convenience we accept credit cards, checks, and cash.  We also have financing available.

  • Step 8 - Receive Warranty Certificate

Once we receive your final payment we’ll register your property. You’ll receive a copy of your warranty. This is an important document to keep track of should you need any repairs done at a later date. Some GAF warranties are transferrable within an initial period of the warranty.

  • Step 9 - Enjoy Piece of Mind!

You’ll rest easy knowing that your property is protected for decades to come. We stand by our work and if there’s ever an issue do not hesitate to reach out to us.

We do our best to provide you with 5-Star Service and build trust throughout your entire roofing process. It is our goal that once your project is complete you’ll be proud to recommend us to your friends and family.

Being around for 30 years, we stand behind the roofs we install. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with the project please let your project manager know.

If you’re able to, leaving us a Review helps us build our online reputation and ensure we can continue to provide the community with high quality roofing service. Future customers know to choose us for the same quality service and communication. Your Review helps us tremendously!
